From 2302fc09080bad51c73f293294e19fd4db464eb0 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Open-IOV Date: Wed, 23 Sep 2026 05:44:08 -0400 Subject: Open-IOV: initial public release Open-IOV virtualizes NVIDIA GPUs so that unmodified guest drivers run with real GPU functionality - CUDA first, 3D and video to follow - on unmodified hosts, without a proprietary vGPU license and without patching any driver, firmware or hypervisor. Core principle: emulate the interface, pass through the work. kernel/ open-iov-vfio.ko - host VFIO mdev driver: virtual GPU device (PCI config space, BAR shadows, MSI-X), GSP boot emulation, GSP-RM message-queue/RPC emulation, memory model (GPU-VA to guest-PA discovery) and the semaphore-completion service that advances guest UVM progress. userspace/ libiov.so management API and examples. tools/ guest diagnostics, firmware analysis wrappers, RM probes. scripts/ stack manager, VM harness, build/load/test automation. config/ hardware/version profiles (the portability surface). docs/ documentation tree - start at docs/README.md. wiki/ long-form firmware and protocol deep dives. Status: initialization works end to end for a stock 570.144 Linux guest on Turing (TU104): driver probe, nvidia-smi, the full GSP-RM control battery, object creation and the early CUDA/UVM start-up path. GPU work forwarding - the step that makes CUDA kernels execute on real hardware - is the active work item; see docs/04-implementation/01-known-knowns-and-unknowns.md. License: BSD-3-Clause for the project; GPL-2.0 for kernel modules that link GPL-only kernel interfaces. See LICENSE and docs/09-reference/legal-and-licensing.md. --- legacy-driver-guest/debugfs/gsp_debugfs.c | 273 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 273 insertions(+) create mode 100644 legacy-driver-guest/debugfs/gsp_debugfs.c (limited to 'legacy-driver-guest/debugfs/gsp_debugfs.c') diff --git a/legacy-driver-guest/debugfs/gsp_debugfs.c b/legacy-driver-guest/debugfs/gsp_debugfs.c new file mode 100644 index 0000000..f3df124 --- /dev/null +++ b/legacy-driver-guest/debugfs/gsp_debugfs.c @@ -0,0 +1,273 @@ +/* SPDX-License-Identifier: GPL-2.0-only */ +/* + * GSP vGPU-IO Driver - Debugfs Interface + */ + +#include "gsp_core.h" +#include +#include + +static int gsp_debugfs_vfs_show(struct seq_file *s, void *unused) +{ + struct gsp_device *gsp = s->private; + struct gsp_vf *vf; + + seq_printf(s, "%-4s %-12s %-10s %-18s %-18s\n", + "ID", "STATE", "REFCNT", "BAR1", "PAGE_TABLE"); + + mutex_lock(&gsp->vf_lock); + list_for_each_entry(vf, &gsp->vf_list, list) { + seq_printf(s, "%-4u %-12d %-10d 0x%016llx-0x%016llx 0x%016llx-0x%016llx\n", + vf->id, vf->state, atomic_read(&vf->refcount), + vf->bar1_offset, vf->bar1_offset + vf->bar1_size, + vf->pt_base, vf->pt_base + vf->pt_size); + } + mutex_unlock(&gsp->vf_lock); + + return 0; +} + +static int gsp_debugfs_vfs_open(struct inode *inode, struct file *file) +{ + return single_open(file, gsp_debugfs_vfs_show, inode->i_private); +} + +static const struct file_operations gsp_debugfs_vfs_fops = { + .open = gsp_debugfs_vfs_open, + .read = seq_read, + .llseek = seq_lseek, + .release = single_release, +}; + +static int gsp_debugfs_vf_show(struct seq_file *s, void *unused) +{ + struct gsp_vf *vf = s->private; + struct gsp_wpr_region *rgn; + + seq_printf(s, "VF %u\n", vf->id); + seq_printf(s, " State: %d\n", vf->state); + seq_printf(s, " Refcount: %d\n", atomic_read(&vf->refcount)); + seq_printf(s, " BAR1: 0x%llx - 0x%llx (size: 0x%llx)\n", + vf->bar1_offset, vf->bar1_offset + vf->bar1_size, vf->bar1_size); + seq_printf(s, " Page Table: 0x%llx - 0x%llx (size: 0x%llx)\n", + vf->pt_base, vf->pt_base + vf->pt_size, vf->pt_size); + seq_printf(s, " Cmd Buffer: 0x%llx - 0x%llx (size: 0x%llx)\n", + vf->cmd_base, vf->cmd_base + vf->cmd_size, vf->cmd_size); + seq_printf(s, " BAR State:\n"); + seq_printf(s, " Aperture: 0x%llx - 0x%llx\n", + vf->bar_state.aperture_offset, + vf->bar_state.aperture_offset + vf->bar_state.aperture_size); + seq_printf(s, " ForceAcc: %s (VF: %u)\n", + vf->bar_state.force_access ?
